The Executive Governor Of Oyo State, Nigeria Visits Our OEM Facilities In Turkey

Our Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Vincent Southey Effiong recently hosted one of Nigeriaâ??s foremost governors, His Excellency Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State Nigeria in the Republic of Turkey, along with his high-powered delegation. An initial meeting was held at our OEM partners (KATMERCILER) Head Quarters in Turkey during which presentations were made regarding a wide range of issues relating to the socio economic development of Oyo State. This was followed by a guided inspection tour of our OEM Partnerâ??s manufacturing facilities conducted by the Chairman of KATMERCILER of Turkey, Mr Mehmet Katmerci and his team.

This visit re-enforced the desire of the current administration in Oyo State to proactively undertake bold developmental strides, cutting across the entire socio economic and socio cultural strata of the state while crisscrossing multiple sectors of the stateâ??s economy, bringing immense benefits to the great people of Oyo State. Opportunities for external direct investment in Oyo State were also discussed, with His Excellency giving assurances towards providing the conducive environment to encourage any and all foreign investment streams coming into the state.

The Executive Governor and his entourage saw first-hand the scope and capacity of the KATMERCILER | SANDECO brand, covering manufacturing for more than 63 countries and an extensive list of special vehicles suitable for the environment, transportation, defense and special projects sectors. Mr Mehmet Katmerci explained to our guests the impact of KATMERCILERâ??S huge investment in research and development (R&D) and the consequent effect this has had on the international acceptance of our brand as Number 1 across the world.

His Excellency Governor Oluwaseyi A. Makinde assured us of the commitment of his administration to work with KATMERCILER | SANDECO towards growing our business within Nigeria as we continue to build our world class special vehicles which support the growth of key institutional infrastructure across Africa. It was clear with this visit, that the KATMERCILER | SANDECO brand is well on its way to becoming the most respected special vehicles manufacturing brand throughout Africa.

Our Group Chairman, Mr Vincent Southey Effiong thanked the Executive Governor and his delegation for their visit, while assuring the visitors of our Groupâ??s commitment to establishing operational facilities in Oyo State in the very near future. These facilities will be charged with supporting our regional company operations in south western Nigeria while creating significant job opportunities for the people of the region.
